Starbucks / by Neil Blake

When I lived in Vancouver, there were no Tim Hortons anywhere close to downtown where I lived and worked, so I’d bring my own from home in a travel cup for the SkyTrain ride in. Then I started drinking Starbucks coffee at work during the day and I started to really like it. I’d always collect my stars to get free coffee once in a while.

While out with my parents this morning, I asked if we could stop at Starbucks since I currently have a free drink on my Starbucks card. When we got there, I got out of the car and was about to walk through a conversation zone where the only Starbucks in town used too be.

I guess it’s one less thing in the city I now call home that will remind me of Vancoouver.
