Friday Fun (Part 2) / by Neil Blake

During the conversation with the man in the wheelchair, RJ is his name, he asked about my experience with the support groups, in which I told him that the last 3 had been cancelled due to lack of interest, or group attendees being away. He asked me if I'd be willing to write an article that other newly diagnosed patients could read and benefit from. Since I've returned to Long Term Disability, I now have a lot more time on my hands, I agreed, but as I was thinking about morning, I realized that publishing this article might allow potential future employers, if ever do return to work, to link my name to the fact that I have MS, which may harm my future career options. I've also been reading a lot of very interesting articles (here and here) lately which lead me to believe that the world is on the edge of some major changes that will eventually lead to a much better future for millions, if not billions, of people around the world, excluding the 1%.
